An insight into the Green Art!

Hello and welcome home to TAZÍ
My name is Rein, and I participate in day activities at a care farm. Through this blog platform, I aim to break down stigmas and raise awareness for this wonderful concept: green care – or, as I like to call it, the green art!
Now, you are probably wondering where the name Tazí comes from and why I chose it for my blog. Well, here is the story: Tazí is derived from the Polynesian name Tasi (located in the Oceania region), which means sea or ocean. Personally, I see a lot of overlap between the peaceful, laid-back atmosphere of a care farm and the lifestyle of the people in New Zealand. The Māori have a concept called “Kaitiakitanga,” which stands for guarding and protecting the sky, land, and water. It is a way of life rooted in a deep connection between people, nature, and well-being. In my opinion, this aligns seamlessly with green care. Hence the name Tazí.
Under the blog tab, you will find four categories. The first three are Animals, Green, and Care. In addition, there is the Personal Diary section, where I occasionally share an anecdote fresh from the farm.
Thank you for visiting my blog, and see you next time!
Yours,
Rein
